A café near our flat has retired airline seats as chairs:
They’re pretty beat up and broken but they’re still newer and in better condition than anything you’ll find on an Air Canada flight! I’m glad I can fly Virgin Atlantic nowadays (well, to everywhere but Canada).
Apparently these chairs also make me have the worst posture ever!!
And to think, I spent 21 hours in chairs like these last week! 🙂
Nah, not really. I spent about ten hours in one of these (at least it reclines) … and a sweet, sweet ten hours in one of these.
That’s an interesting use of old airplane seats. It’s funny to think that long, long ago there was a time when seats were made out of thick brown leather.
The trick to surviving AC is to lower expectations. “Oh my, how nice. I’ll have an orange juice if it’s on the house!” 😉
